The show starts with pictures of buddhist monuments in the capital of Yangon and nearby Bago. It continues with pictures of minority people near Kalaw. The Palaung people live in longhouses and wear tradtional dress at festivities. The Danu people live in the same region. The Padaung women who live in Nyaungshwe wear many rings around the neck. That is why they are called the longneck people. The Pao people near Nyaungshwe wear dark coloured dress. The slideshow features pictures of an old temple with many stupas at Inle Lake Inle. It also shows old rock temples with paintings and sculptures at Monywa. Only a few original monuments remain of the former royal palace at Mandalay. The slideshow ends with pictures of ancient temples in Pyay and Bagan. Both cities were former capitals of the Birmese empire.
